Aldersbrook Primary School :: Ugandan School Partnership
In March, 2007, we started an important international partnership with Gulu Primary School in Northern Uganda. Gulu is a large City in the area of Uganda badly affected by civil war for over 20 years until January 2007. The school cares for many children orphaned and traumatised by the war, many of whom are blind and cared for in an annexe of the school.
We have raised funds to help build a wall around the complex to keep the children secure.
We exchange letters and hope to be able to develop better communications so that other areas of learning may be shared between the schools.
